After twelve years of working with a specific goal in mind, something happened one day that took me way outside my comfort zone. Out of the blue I decided it was time to jump out of one industry and dive into another. I’m not sure if you’ve ever found yourself in a similar spot, but the word that comes to mind daunting. Finding oneself at a crossroads is nothing new, but when you’re standing there, and the roads that surround you are endless, it’s hard to even take a first step.

Here’s the question I started to contemplate.

“If there was nothing standing in my way, and I could be anything I wanted, what would I be?” This is the question my life coach presented me with and when he asked it, several thoughts immediately swirled through my mind; big things like being a famous singer, a successful dancer, and so on and so forth. I knew instinctively that at this stage in my life what I wanted was something simpler, and way more down to earth.

I wanted to be challenged by something new. I wanted it to be something that interested me enough to not only keep me growing, but lead me in a direction where I could discover opportunities that would help me change my family’s future. I also wanted to feel proud of whatever I chose because I knew that I’d be putting my heart and soul into it. My last desire was to possibly tell my story some day and inspire others to believe that they, too, could get unstuck and do something completely new no matter how young or old they were. I had no idea what my “something new,” would be, but I was excited to begin this new journey and crack the code along the way.

Great and unexpected things can come out of moving in a new direction.

This is where mindset becomes really important. I could either view this out of the blue decision as me beginning at ground zero, or I could view it as an opportunity to make a bold choice that would impact my life and make it that much better. I’m naturally inclined to look at the glass half full, but even that doesn’t compare to intentionally taking a next step with a healthy, positive and winning mindset. When I get this part right, I dream bigger dreams and it feels really good to see myself not settling.

In the end, my decision gave me the opportunity to explore a path I’d never envisioned. I’m constantly working to find the courage needed to build the confidence this requires, and thankfully I’m not alone. Having someone to teach me how to shape my mindset is helping me turn my doubts into challenges I can now face with excellence. Personal development has been one of the biggest gifts life’s thrown my way and as luck would have it, it crossed my path at just the right time.

She’s loyal to a tee, fun, personable and dedicated to improving the lives of those around her personally and professionally.

The primary words that drive her revolve around the letter C, interestingly enough. Here’s a glimpse… Copywriting, Content Creation, Communication, Contribution, Continuous learning and growth and a Curiousness that will help her seek out the key elements that’ll help her tell your story in a way that earns trust.
