Curious to Get a Glimpse?

A life transformed by personal development is a sight to behold

(Blog 1 in a series of 12)

I’m coming to realize something big, and it has to do with how I view my own life. This morning as I was seeking inspiration as I often do, a thought crossed through my mind. The thought went something like this. I’ve always sought out HAPPINESS over anything else. I believe a lot of people are working towards big things like success, wealth, prestige, fame and the list goes on and on. Those are all things I’ve thought about and possibly even wished for, but they’ve never been at the forefront.

I’m learning a lot about myself as I work toward new goals and as I find myself doing more of the things that make me happy. To begin with, self-discovery, self-love, being intentional, simply moving (in the sense of taking steps forward while being unsure of where it’ll lead me, but knowing that it’s going to be so, so good), being wide open to the possibilities, exploring my courage and confidence because I know that without those two things I’ll never get very far in
accomplishing my big, “scary” dreams. Scary because it’s said that if your dreams don’t scare you, they’re just not big enough.

Allowing my caring over what others think to melt away and showing up the way I want to show up, unapologetically. This has been a big one. Also, learning the importance of authenticity. I’ve never acted like anyone other than myself, but I’m finding that there are different layers to being authentic that I have yet to explore. Lastly, honoring myself for where I’m at today and all of the steps I’ve taken throughout the last fifteen months to get here.

Right now, I’m at a place in life where I’m growing into a more vibrant version of myself. It’s astounding, really. Not the greatness of who I am or where I’m beginning to go, but the fact that there are infinite levels of “better versions” that I wasn’t even aware existed. I’ve naturally been the type of person who’s worked towards being the best me, but the further I venture into personal development the more I realize that there is more. More, in the best sense of the word. It’s all about unending possibilities.

I think that you can become aware of something that has the potential to change your life, and that’s as far as it’ll ever go. Awareness is just the first step. Making the choice to act and then explore is what actually creates the forward momentum we’re all searching for. For me, personal development came at the perfect time and provided me with hope, first and foremost. It continues to teach me concepts that are helping me shift the things that matter most, and by shifting I’m beginning to find my way towards exactly where I want to be.

It’s a journey, and with all its up and downs, it’s not always pretty. By facing the hard parts, I get to come out the other side stronger, more confident, and full of joy because of the obstacle that I can now see behind me instead of in front of me. It’s my new normal, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Who’s L.B.? (Letty)

She’s someone who’s led an unglamorous life in order to follow her passion. Her biggest desire, even while earning her college degree, was to be a loving and hands-on-mom.

“Give someone else the JOY and privilege? Definitely not part of the plan.”

She spent 25 years working nights so she could enjoy being mom during the day. No regrets, just gratefulness. She worked with only two companies over a 30 year span and focused on representing those companies with excellence. Her understanding of the client-business relationship grew and her skills in areas like putting the customer’s needs first, multi-tasking effectively, boosting sales, training others to do the same and being an extension of her management, deepened.

She now combines 3 decades of experience to help small companies, entrepreneurs, life coaches and solopreneurs experience their dreams faster by becoming an integral part of their success. She’s loyal to a tee, fun, personable and dedicated to improving the lives of those around her personally and professionally.

The primary words that drive her revolve around the letter C, interestingly enough. Here’s a glimpse… Copywriting, Content Creation, Communication, Contribution, Continuous learning and growth and a Curiousness that will help her seek out the key elements that’ll help her tell your story in a way that earns trust.
