I started off my Pursuit of Passion unsure of the true purpose of my trip.  I had originally thought that I would be finding passionate people, interviewing them, participating in their passion, and then documenting why their passion drives them to become successful.  (Read about my Pursuit of Passion Here).  As I traveled from city to city (24 cities, 10k miles, and 2/12 months on the road) I started to feel a transformation in my soul that was greatly impacted by the amazing people that came across my path at each destination.  While hearing the impactful stories of so many inspiring individuals (you can read about many of them in other blog posts) had a profound impact on me, there was something else that allowed my heart to open and full y accept the messages that were being presented to me.  This character trait was Honesty:  The honesty I would have with myself in who I was, what was causing so many issues that was steeling my happiness, and honesty with who I wanted to be.   Throughout my trip I had sessions with an seriously amazing counselor and conversations with the best life coach on the planet and without honesty and transparency, the lessons learned would have fallen to the side like the Chicago Cubs 2017 season (Go White Sox)!

Today on May 22nd, 2017 I participated in a counseling session (like many that I have had over the past year) that forced me to open up and be honest with myself, honest with the person I love, and honest with the universe.  This honesty carries a energy force that has a strong Godly power that allows for mountains to be moved and a path to be shown.

I can say that today was an amazing day and the feeling of being honest and transparent is one that I will be sure to keep in my character toolbox of life.
